The Creuse is not only the green heart of continental France. It also boasts cultural treasures.

At Boussac one can still see old tapestries in a 15th century chateau where George Sand stayed. This hilly region is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. Its many lakes and small streams are also the ideal place for fishing. Aubusson and its tapestry factory is nearby. Also nearby in Nohant is George Sand's house. Nearby you can also enjoy tennis, golf, and horseriding. Creuse Nature is a green, wooded, peaceful area which extends over 20 hectares. Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy a pond swarming with fish. Spread around a circular building which houses the entertainment centre, campers are accomodated on 92 allotments (46 camping allotments and 46 caravaning allotments) and 7 caravans and 2 mobile homes for rent. All traditional vacation activities can be enjoyed here.
