the fauna and flora will enchant you
and it is not rare to encounter
the odd marmot, ibex or chamois
where trails criss-cross each other.
At 1,200 metres altitude in the heart
of this beautiful country, Les Clapières
with its 3 hectares of landscaped terraces
will welcome you in rented studios, caravans which are ideal for vacation in a family
setting. In summer: grocery, snack bar,
meal time with all and sundry.
In winter, snow lovers can give in to cross country skiing or practise downhill skiing
at Briançon, Montgénèvre, Serre-Chevalier on more than 700 kilometres of ski trails.
In summer, many outings are organised
in the Ecrins, le Pelvoux or the Queyras
to see new sights. For watersport aficionados the numerous rivers: the Clarée, the Guisane, the Durance all allow for canoeing, kayaking, rafting, freshwater swimming.
